ANNVILLE, Pa. - Lebanon Valley Women's Basketball continued to receive postseason accolades with two members named to the ECAC South All-Star team Wednesday afternoon. Junior Andrea Hoover earned First Team recognition while classmate Suzie Noyes garnered Third Team honors.

Myrtle Beach, SC: 3/17/10 - Down one run in the eighth, junior Virginia Buechel drilled a walk-off home run that scored senior Kristen Burns and lifted the Knights to their second win of the season, topping Norwich University 4-3 Tuesday afternoon in Myrtle Beach, SC.  The win gives Arcadia University (2-4 overall) head coach Linda Detra the 350th victory of her 18 year coaching career.

Widener freshman guard Lil Carney (Narbeth, PA) continued to pile on the awards as she was named D3Hoops.com Mid-Atlantic Region Rookie of the Year.

ANNVILLE, Pa. - The Lebanon Valley College women's basketball team continued to receive post season accolades with d3hoops.com naming head coach Todd Goclowski the All-Mid-Atlantic Region Coach of the Year. Junior Andrea Hoover earned First Team All-Mid-Atlantic Region, while classmate Suzie Noyes was named to the Second Team.

Center Valley, PA (March 16, 2010) – In what is certain to be an off-season filled with honors for senior Darnell Braswell (Allentown, PA/William Allen), the first two came thru on Tuesday as Braswell was honored as the D3hoops.com Mid-Atlantic Region Player of the Year and on the First-Team as announced by the organization on its website and was also named as a participant in the first-ever NABC Senior All-Star Game to be played before the National Championship game in Salem, VA on Saturday morning.

READING, Pa. – For the first time in his career junior guard Zac Shaeffer was announced as a third team D3Hoops.com All-Middle Atlantic Region selection Tuesday afternoon. The announcement comes following a career year for the Lampeter native, who led Albright to conference tournament championship and a berth in the NCAA tournament. 

3.16.2010 | Baseball

The first big surprise of the day came when Eastern and Penn State-Berks took the field. Though the weather was perfect for springtime baseball, torrential rains throughout the weekend had dumped over three inches of rain onto the field. The Eastern coaching staff and players worked throughout the day to get the playing surface in good condition for a nine inning game. Once play started, the Eagles fell behind 4-0 early but used a pair of unorthodox double-plays to change the tenor of the game before rallying to win 7-5.

MYRTLE BEACH, South Carolina – On the first day of their spring trip to Myrtle Beach, the Lady Lions (1-4) had a sensational afternoon defeating the Corsairs of the University of Massachusetts at Dartmouth by the final score of 10-2 in five innings of play Sunday afternoon.
