MADISON, NJ -- Freshman point-guard Celia Rader scored a career-high 20 points in her first career start as the King's College women's basketball team went on the road to post an important 62-58 Freedom Conference victory over host FDU-Florham Saturday in Madison, NJ.

WILLIAMSPORT, Pa. – Johnathan Williams scored 11 points and had four assists.The Lycoming College men’s basketball team escaped with a 69-68 win over Arcadia University on Sunday, Feb. 7. The game was close throughout, with 13 ties and 16 lead changes. Junior forward Will Kelly put up 20 points.

In response to the recent earthquake in Haiti, several college baseball teams have committed to work to provide needed funds for relief. Eastern University Baseball has joined with baseball programs around the nation in a program called Pinch Hit for Haiti. The Eastern team will work throughout the year to raise awareness and funds for Haiti relief.

Center Valley, PA (February 6, 2010) – Just less than a month ago things did not look particularly good for the DeSales University women’s basketball, just 1-3 in the Freedom Conference, but since that time the Bulldogs have dominated winning seven of eight games and six straight after an 84-77 win over Delaware Valley College in Freedom Conference action on Saturday night in Billera Hall.

The Wilkes University men’s basketball team participated in a rollercoaster of a game on Saturday afternoon against Manhattanville, and after shooting 47 free throws and coming back from a 15 point deficit, defeated the Valiants in overtime, 81-78.

The 6-2 guard buried a 22-foot three pointer with just 1.2 seconds remaining in regulation, helping Messiah knock off arch rival Elizabethtown College by a 61-60 score — all in front of a chaotic house of 1,872 frenzied spectators.
