WILLIAMSPORT, Pa. - Three Lycoming College men’s basketball players are part of the 10-player East Coast All-Stars, coached by Lycoming’s head coach, Guy Rancourt, that will head out for an eight-day trip on Aug. 6 that will feature stops in Switzerland and France.

Senior Chris McDevitt (Doylestown, PA) as well as three coaches from Widener’s men’s basketball staff next month are headed to Europe for eight days of sightseeing, basketball and fun in three countries.

ANNVILLE, Pa. – The Middle Atlantic Conferences Winter Academic Honor Roll, which notes academic excellence by student-athletes, contains 329 honorees as announced by Executive Director Ken Andrews.

The Middle Atlantic Conference announces its annual sportsmanship teams for the winter 2010 conference sports. These teams include a player from each conference school who has demonstrated exceptional sportsmanship through their actions on and off the field during the season. The players are selected by the players and coaches from their respective schools.

The MAC office has announced the 2010 winter scholar athletes. The MAC Awards Committee bases selection on academic record (50%) and athletic prowess (50%). One student-athlete is chosen per sport. The winner must be a senior with a minimum GPA of 3.2.

Center Valley, PA (March 19, 2010) – Senior Darnell Braswell (Allentown, PA/William Allen) collected some more post-season hardware on Thursday as he was named the ECAC South Region and NABC Mid-Atlantic Region Player of the Year and to the First-Team by each organization. In addition Braswell was named an NABC First-Team All-American for the second straight year as announced on Wednesday evening.

ELIZABETHTOWN, Pa. --- Elizabethtown College senior center Mike Church has been named second-team All-Middle Atlantic Region by the National Association of Basketball Coaches, as voted upon by member coaches of the NABC.

KANSAS CITY, Mo. – The postseason awards continue to roll in for junior Zac Shaeffer. However on Thursday, the Lampeter native earned probably his most distinguished award yet, as he was named to the National Association of Basketball Coaches (NABC) Middle Atlantic First Team All-District, as announced by the NABC.

WILLIAMSPORT, Pa. – Guy Rancourt, Lycoming College's second-year head men's basketball coach, has been named D3hoops.com Middle Atlantic Region Coach of the Year. The Warriors finished the 2009-10 campaign 21-7 overall and 10-4 in the Commonwealth Conference. Rancourt led the squad to the title game of the conference's tournament as the No. 1 seed and an at-large bid to the NCAA Division III men’s basketball tournament.

Center Valley, PA (March 16, 2010) – In what is certain to be an off-season filled with honors for senior Darnell Braswell (Allentown, PA/William Allen), the first two came thru on Tuesday as Braswell was honored as the D3hoops.com Mid-Atlantic Region Player of the Year and on the First-Team as announced by the organization on its website and was also named as a participant in the first-ever NABC Senior All-Star Game to be played before the National Championship game in Salem, VA on Saturday morning.

READING, Pa. – For the first time in his career junior guard Zac Shaeffer was announced as a third team D3Hoops.com All-Middle Atlantic Region selection Tuesday afternoon. The announcement comes following a career year for the Lampeter native, who led Albright to conference tournament championship and a berth in the NCAA tournament.
