Center Valley, PA (March 10, 2010) – Senior Andrew Ferretti (Sinking Spring, PA/Wilson) of the DeSales University men’s cross-country team was honored on Wednesday as he was awarded one of 29 NCAA Postgraduate Scholarships handed out to male student-athletes on a Fall sport.

The men’s and women’s cross country teams were named to the All-Academic Team by the U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association recently, as over 100 colleges and universities received the award across the nation.

The Middle Atlantic Conferences announces its annual sportsmanship teams for the fall 2009 conference sports. These teams include a player from each conference school who has demonstrated exceptional sportsmanship through their actions on and off the field during the season. The players are selected by the players and coaches from their respective schools.

ELIZABETHTOWN, Pa. --- The Elizabethtown College men's cross country team earned one of 16 at-large bids to the 2009 NCAA Division III Championships, which will be held on Saturday at the Highland Hills Golf Course in Highland Hills, Ohio.

CENTER VALLEY, Pa. --- Elizabethtown College earned the 10th Middle Atlantic Conference men's cross country championship in program history by placing five runners in the top 11 to capture the title at DeSales University on Saturday.

The men's and women's 2009 cross country championships will take place Saturday October 31 at DeSales University, Center Valley, Pa. LANCASTER, Pa. --- For the second consecutive year, Elizabethtown College finished first at the Battle for the Buggy men's cross country meet, which the Blue Jays co-hosted with Millersville University at Lancaster County Central Park on Saturday morning.

EAST STROUDSBURG (PA) – Delaware Valley College junior Caitlin Dorgan captured her third individual title of the season and shattered the East Stroudsburg University course record as the Aggies competed at the Pete Nevins Invitational. The women placed third out of 14 squads while the men were eighth out of 15.
