The men’s and women’s cross country teams were named to the All-Academic Team by the U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association recently, as over 100 colleges and universities received the award across the nation.

The Middle Atlantic Conferences announces its annual sportsmanship teams for the fall 2009 conference sports. These teams include a player from each conference school who has demonstrated exceptional sportsmanship through their actions on and off the field during the season. The players are selected by the players and coaches from their respective schools.

BETHLEHEM, Pa. - Junior Jenn Cronin won the NCAA Mid-East Regional meet, becoming LVC's first-ever NCAA National Championship qualifier in the process.

CENTER VALLEY, Pa. --- Elizabethtown College won its third consecutive Middle Atlantic Conference women's cross country championship on Saturday at DeSales University, scoring 56 points to edge Messiah College by four points for the team title.

The men's and women's 2009 cross country championships will take place Saturday October 31 at DeSales University, Center Valley, Pa. The women's race will begin at 11:00 am and the men's race will begin at 12:00 pm. Information on the races can be found on the conference mainpage under championship information.

NEW YORK, N.Y. – The Manhattanville women’s cross country team placed three runners in the top 23 on the way to a third-place finish at the College of Staten Island Invitational, held on Sunday at Van Cortlandt Park.

The Eastern University Cross Country team ran at the Goldey Beacom Fall Classic on Saturday afternoon. Whitney Kerner finished second overall and paced the women to a season-best second place finish over the hilly 5K course. The Eastern Men finished fifth overall.

BETHLEHEM, Pa. - Jenn Cronin placed second and Megan Long and Brad Sweigart captured top-25 finishes as LVC competed at the 36th Annual Brooks Paul Short Run at Lehigh University Friday.

JERSEY CITY, NJ - Junior Ian Scott (Franklin, NJ/Walkill Valley) set the FDU men's 8k record with a time of 27:49.52 breaking the previous record of 28:53 set in 1998 while junior Jaclyn Corseri (Portsmouth, RI/Portsmouth RI) set the FDU women's 6k record with a time of 23:58.27 breaking the previous record of 25:48.40 at the Stevens Invitational on Friday afternoon.

FORT INDIANTOWN GAP, Pa. --- The Elizabethtown College women's cross country team opened its 2009 season with a second-place finish at the Lebanon Valley College Invitational, held Saturday at Memorial Lake State Park.

Reading, Pa. (Sept. 12, 2009) - Senior Bridget Burger (Lansdale, Pa./Lansdale Catholic) established the first course record with a time of 20:58 to lead Alvernia University to a win over Penn State-Berks Saturday morning in a women's cross country race at Alvernia's new home course.

Reading, Pa. (April 15, 2009) – The men’s and women’s cross country teams attended the weekly after-school program at St. Peter’s Church on Wednesday afternoon. St. Peter’s is in Reading, and many of the children who attend are also members of the South Reading Youth Initiative, who are involved in many events on the Alvernia University campus with various Crusader athletic teams.
