Middle Atlantic Conference

The Middle Atlantic Conference announces its annual sportsmanship teams for the spring 2010 conference sports. These teams include a player from each conference school who has demonstrated exceptional sportsmanship through their actions on and off the field during the season. The players are selected by the players and coaches from their respective schools.

Berea, OH — The career of Messiah senior Kristen Bates came to an end Saturday at Baldwin-Wallace College’s Finnie Stadium. It’s doubtful her legacy will ever fade away.

Ewing, NJ/Bridgewater, VA — There’s a reason they’re called “last chance” meets.

Chester, PA — In an exciting final day of competition, the Messiah women’s track and field team successfully won their fifth consecutive outdoor Mid-Atlantic Conference Title — by one of their smallest margins. 

The MAC office has announced the 2010 spring scholar athletes. The MAC Awards Committee bases selection on academic record (50%) and athletic prowess (50%). One student-athlete is chosen per sport. The winner must be a senior with a minimum GPA of 3.2.
 

The Misericordia University women's track & field team set a school record in the 4x400m relay, Thursday at the Penn Relays.

CHESTER, Pa. – In one of the biggest meets they have competed at this season numerous members of the Albright Track and Field recorded new personal bests, while five others qualified for the Middle Atlantic Conference championship meet in May Saturday afternoon at the Widener University Invitational.
