The Eastern University Cross Country team ran at the Goldey Beacom Fall Classic on Saturday afternoon. Whitney Kerner finished second overall and paced the women to a season-best second place finish over the hilly 5K course. The Eastern Men finished fifth overall. 

Martha Mackey joined Kerner in getting hardware in the women's race. Kerner covered the course in 22:07. Mackey finished ninth in 23:00. Jenn Schiafano, Val Wrona, Alex Evenson also scored for the Women.

Jonathan Holbert again paced the Eastern Men over the 8K course. His 31:40 time game evidence to the difficulty of the course.
The Eagles return to action at Belmont Plateau next weekend.
