Eagles Pinch Hit for Haiti

In response to the recent earthquake in Haiti, several college baseball teams have committed to work to provide needed funds for relief. Eastern University Baseball has joined with baseball programs around the nation in a program called Pinch Hit for Haiti. The Eastern team will work throughout the year to raise awareness and funds for Haiti relief. 

Head Coach Matt Midkiff said of the program, "This is something that is at the core of Eastern and the core of our baseball program. When there is a chance to help people in these dire situations we do our best to reach out in any way possible. We are proud to join with baseball programs, large and small from across the country to help the people who have beendevastated by this tragedy. We encourage the entire Eastern Community to join with us and Pinch Hit for Haiti."
