Misericordia University's Jeff Clark set a new school record in the 200 breaststroke (2:05.76), but it wasn't enough to advance to the evening session at the NCAA Division III Swimming Championships, Saturday at the University of Minnesota.

Clark took more than a second off his own school record on the way to a 19th-place finish. He missed qualifying for the finals by three places.

Clark, a junior, ended his first trip to the NCAA's with top 20 finishes in the 100 and 200 breaststroke.
