Osborne's Second Straight 74 Leads Alvernia Men's Golf

Reading, Pa. - Freshman Casey Osborne (Lititz, Pa./Warwick) shot his second straight 74 to lead Alvernia University to a 325 team total and third place out of six teams at the Crusaders' Spring Golf Invitational hosted by the Reading Country Club.

Osborne finished second individually behind Messiah College freshman Matt Burkhart who shot 1-under 69. The Falcons won the team title with a 298 team score.

Sophomore Justin Arnt (Myerstown, Pa./ELCO) shot 79 for the Crusaders followed by Jimmy Dolinger (Oxford, Pa./Oxford) with an 83, and Tim Pici (Malvern, Pa./West Chester East) at 89.

The Crusaders will tee it up next weekend at the Commonwealth Conference Championships at Hershey Country Club.
