LEBANON, Pa. - For the second time in the 2009-10 golf season, the Lions left the Lebanon Valley College Invitational as tournament champions, defeating 19 other teams with a final combined score of 318 (+30) Monday afternoon.

The last time, Albright traveled to the Lebanon Country Club was in September when they recorded a team score of 307 to earn their first championship of the 2009-10 season. Just like in September two Lions golfers placed in the top-5 overall to help their team to the tournament championship.

On Monday, it was the duo of Matthew Osorio and Steve Werst that posted team best finishes. Both golfers ended the afternoon with score of 76, with Osorio earning a third place finish, and Werst a fifth place finish.

Erik Thorn tallied another top-20 score with an 82, while Brody Blessing finished tied for 29th place with a score of 84. David Morano closed out the afternoon for the Lions in 75th place and a final score of 92.

Lions Golf returns to action on Thursday when they take part in the Elizabethtown College Spring Invitational. Start time is scheduled for 12:30 p.m.
