Annville, Pa. - The Middle Atlantic Conference announces the 2010 softball all-conference teams for the Commonwealth and Freedom Conferences.
Alvernia’s Rhiannon Sorrentino was tabbed Commonwealth Player of the Year. Messiah’s Jessica Rhoads took home Commonwealth Pitcher of the Year honors, while outfield teammate Stephanie Schell was named Rookie of the Year in addition to her first team all-conference nod. The league’s top coaching honor went to Stacey Hollinger of Lebanon Valley College.
Misericordia’s Nicole Hoskins was tabbed Freedom Conference Player of the Year. King’s Lindsey Hoerner took home Freedom Pitcher of the Year honors. Infielder Allison Tomasino of Delaware Valley was named Rookie of the Year. The league’s top coaching honor went to Jen Probst of Misericordia University.
