MADISON, NJ - Senior attack Kristen Schuster (Centereach, NY/Centereach) scored three goals, and was named Tournament Most Outstanding Player, to lead the top-seeded College at Florham Devils to a 12-8 victory over second-seeded Washington & Jefferson in the ECAC Mid-Atlantic Region Tournament Championship Game on Sunday afternoon.

With the win, the Devils finished their season with a record of 16-6 which ties them for the most single-season wins in school history. The Presidents ended their season with a mark of 13-4.

FDU started hot, scoring four of the first five goals of the game to grab a 4-1 lead with 8:54 left in the first half. The Presidents came right back though, scoring the final two goals of the stanza to pull to within 4-3 heading into halftime.

Schuster scored the first goal of the second half off a feed from sophomore attack Breana Kilpatrick (Pennsauken, NJ/Camden Catholic) and then Kilpatrick gave FDU a 6-3 advantage on a free position shot with 21:00 left in the game. The Presidents then ripped off a big rally, scoring four consecutive goals to take a 7-6 lead with 12:29 to go. The Devils responded immediately, scoring four straight goals of their own to go back ahead by a score of 10-7. Junior midfielder Erika Depelteau (West Windsor, NJ/West Windsor-Plainsboro North) scored two goals in the FDU run. Washington & Jefferson cut their deficit to 10-8 with 4:17 remaining but that was as close as they would get as senior attack Linda Bohn (Vernon, NJ/Vernon Township) and Schuster scored the final two goals of the game to seal the win.

Kilpatrick finished the game with two goals and one assist while Bohn also had two goals. Junior midfielder Lindsey Parent (Cinnaminson, NJ/Cinnaminson) added a goal and two assists.
