ANNVILLE, Pa. – The Middle Atlantic Conference is pleased to announce the inaugural 2013 Fall Academic All-Conference Teams.  The teams were released on Thursday afternoon by MAC Executive Director, Ken Andrews.

"In Fall 2013 the MAC instituted a new award to acknowledge the top scholar-athletes in each sport.” said Andrews.  “Over the years we have named top students to the academic honor roll and superior athletes to all-conference teams.  This recognition, modeled on the national All America Academic program, combines the two components of student-athlete into one conference honor."

In order to be nominated for the Academic All-Conference team a student-athlete must be a sophomore or higher, maintain at least a 3.2 GPA and compete in the 2013 fall sports season.  Nominations from each school are submitted to the MAC office by each institution’s sports information director, then voted upon by the MAC’s 18 SID’s.

* Please note ties in voting are not broken therefore some teams may have more honorees then their counterpart sport.*
