All-Time Champions
WILKES-BARRE, Pa. (Women’s Tennis) – The 2015 Middle Atlantic Conference (MAC) Women’s Tennis Individual Championship is set for this weekend, Oct. 10-11. King’s College and Wilkes University will host this year’s championship at Kirby Park in Wilkes-Barre, Pa.
Admission to the 2015 MAC Women’s Tennis Individual Championship is free and parking is available in the lot adjacent to the Ralston Field Complex. Long-sleeved white t-shirts with the championship logo will be for sale on site for $15 while supplies last. Programs will be free at the site of completion. Check out the

Action will get underway on Saturday, Oct. 10 at 8:40 a.m. with the opening ceremony. The first round of doubles will begin at 9 a.m., followed by the first round of singles. The second round of singles will then follow with the second round of doubles to finish day one. Sunday will begin at 9 a.m. with semifinal rounds of doubles and then singles. Singles finals will follow with doubles finals capping the event. There will be a medal ceremony following the conclusion of the championship
Wilkes claimed four of the seven singles titles and two of the four doubles titles at the 2014 MAC Women’s Tennis Individual Championship. King’s Maddie Griffin was crowned the No. 1 singles champion, while Lebanon Valley’s Mary Kate Lemon claimed the No. 2 singles title. The rest of the 2014 singles champions were as follows: No. 3 Madison Salmon (Wilkes), No. 4 Taylor Hoffmann (Wilkes), No. 5 Cassandra Noray (Alvernia), No. 6 Olivia Hewison (Wilkes) and No. 7 Lauren West (Wilkes).
Albright’s Brooke Ronney and Alyssa Sell claimed the No. 1 doubles title in 2014. Wilkes’ Anastasia English and Hoffmann were No. 2 doubles champions. Wilkes’ Salmon and Hewison claimed the No. 3 doubles title, while Eastern’s Kathleen Duffy and Kelly Archibald were No. 4 doubles champions.
Wilkes leads the conference with 31 all-time singles champions and 19 all-time doubles champions at the conference individual championship.
