2016 Schedule

ANNVILLE, Pa. (Men’s Soccer) – The Eastern Eagles were selected as the favorite in the 2016 conference preseason poll conducted among the Middle Atlantic Conference Freedom (MAC Freedom) men’s soccer coaches. The Eagles received all seven first-place votes from opposing conference coaches for 49 points.
 
In 2015, Eastern captured its first MAC Freedom title in its fourth trip to the conference championship match since 2010. The Eagles earned a berth to the NCAA Division III Championship, but fell to Rutgers-Camden in the first round. Eastern finished the season with a 16-3-2 (4-2-1 MAC Freedom) overall record.
 
King’s received 40 points to rank second in the poll. The Monarchs earned the top seed in last season’s conference tournament, but fell to Eastern in the championship match. King’s, who have played in three-straight conference title matches, finished the season with a 16-4-1 (5-1-1 MAC Freedom) overall record.
 
Manhattanville collected 35 points and FDU-Florham received 29 points to rank third and fourth. Both the Valiants and Devils earned a spot in the conference tournament in 2015, but fell in the semifinal round.
 
Misericordia received 27 points to round out the top-five. The rest of the poll, in respective order, included DeSales (24 points), Wilkes (12 points) and Delaware Valley (8 points).
