2016 Schedule

ANNVILLE, Pa. (Men’s Soccer) – The Lycoming Warriors were selected as the favorite in the 2016 conference preseason poll conducted among the Middle Atlantic Conference Commonwealth (MAC Commonwealth) men’s soccer coaches. The Warriors collected six first-place votes for 62 points.
 
In 2015, Lycoming won its second MAC Commonwealth title in the last three years.  The Warriors earned a berth in the NCAA Division III Championship, but fell to the eventual national champion Ahmerst in the third round. The Warriors finished the season with an 18-2-2 (7-0-1 MAC Commonwealth) overall record. Lycoming was ranked No. 10 in the 2016 NSCAA Division III Preseason Poll.
 
Messiah received 59 points and three first-place votes to rank second in the poll. The Falcons advanced to the conference championship match a season ago, but fell to Lycoming, 1-0. The Falcons finished 2015 with a 14-5-1 (7-1-0 MAC Commonwealth) overall record.
 
Arcadia collected 43 points and Lebanon Valley received 42 points to rank third and fourth. The Knights fell in the conference tournament play-in game a season ago, while the Dutchmen lost to Messiah in the conference semifinal round.
 
Alvernia collected 34 points to round out the top-five. The rest of the poll, in respective order, included Widener (31 points), Hood (28 points), Stevenson (17 points) and Albright (8 points).
