2016-17 All-MAC Freedom Men’s Basketball Team Announced

ANNVILLE, Pa. (Men’s Basketball) – The 2016-17 All-MAC Freedom Men’s Basketball Team has been announced. Eastern’s senior Shaquan Turk was named MAC Freedom Player of the Year, and Misericordia’s freshman Tony Harding was named MAC Freedom Rookie of the Year. Delaware Valley’s Mark Seidenburg was named MAC Freedom Coach of the Year in his first season.
 
The All-MAC Freedom Men’s Basketball Team is nominated and voted on by the eight conference men’s basketball coaches.
 
Joining Turk (forward) on the All-MAC Freedom First Team were: guards Jason Kenny (Misericordia), Tyliek Kimbrough (Delaware Valley), Victor Peña (Eastern) and Kuity Slanger (DeSales).
 
Joining Harding (guard) on the All-MAC Freedom Second Team were: forwards Ryan Callahan (DeSales), Dan Rutecki (King’s) and Alex Tuci (Manhattanville); and center Tyrea Williams (Delaware Valley).
 
Four players were named All-MAC Freedom Honorable Mention, including guards Connor Evans (Wilkes), Alex Matsinye (Delaware Valley) and Marcus Robinson (Wilkes); and forward Donte Ali (FDU-Florham).
