ANNVILLE, Pa. (Women’s Basketball) – The 2016-17 All-MAC Freedom Women’s Basketball Team has been announced. Misericordia’s senior Justine Seely was named MAC Freedom Player of the Year, and FDU-Florham’s freshman Kendrea Williams was named MAC Freedom Rookie of the Year. Misericordia’s Jason Rhine was named MAC Freedom Coach of the Year in his first season.
 
The All-MAC Freedom Women’s Basketball Team is nominated and voted on by the eight conference women’s basketball coaches.
 
Joining Seely (forward) on the All-MAC Freedom First Team were: guards Alyssa McDonough (FDU-Florham) and Taylor Price (Eastern); forward Emily Lavin (Eastern); and center Morgan McCollian (DeSales).
 
Joining Williams (guard) on the All-MAC Freedom Second Team were: guards Morgan Birmelin (DeSales) and Danielle Skedzielewski (Delaware Valley); forward Rachel Carmody (Forward); and center Rachel Groom (FDU-Florham)
 
Five players were named All-MAC Freedom Honorable Mention, including guards Japriya Carroll (Misericordia) and Ashley Smink (Delaware Valley); and forwards Olivia Hoffman (King’s), Kayleah McGuire (Manhattanville) and Regie Robinson (Eastern).
