BETHLEHEM, Pa. (Men’s Indoor Track & Field) – The Widener Pride won their eighth-straight Middle Atlantic Conference (MAC) Men’s Indoor Track & Field Championship on Saturday with a total of 163 points. Lebanon Valley finished second with 115 points. The Pride now has a conference best 16 conference titles.
Widener’s head coach Vince Touey was named the MAC Coach of the Year. Stevenson’s Devonte Williams was named MAC Track Athlete of the Year. Widener’s Daniel Herbster was named MAC Field Athlete of the Year, and Widener’s Frank Livolsi was named MAC Rookie of the Year.

60-Meter Dash
Stevenson’s Devonte Williams won gold with a new MAC Championship record time of 6.88 seconds, bettering the 2014 record time of 6.91 seconds set by Widener’s Gavin Colley. Williams’ time is tied for eighth best in Division III. Misericordia’s Juwan Petties-Jackson won silver with a time of 6.94 seconds, and the Mustangs’ Tyler Bailey took bronze with a time of 7.07 seconds.
60-Meter Hurdles
Messiah’s Brett Koch won gold with a time of 8.83 seconds, while teammate Aaron Gray won silver in a time of 8.85 seconds. Lebanon Valley’s Chance Atkins won bronze in a time of 8.85 seconds.
200-Meter Dash
Stevenson’s Devonte Williams won gold with a new MAC Championship record time of 21.79 seconds, bettering the previous record time of 22.26 set in 2014 by Widener’s Gavin Colley. Williams’ time also currently sits as the best time in Division III. Misericordia’s Juwan Petties-Jackson took silver in a time of 21.83 seconds, which ranks second best in the country. Stevenson’s Tylor Bailey took bronze with a time of 22.55 seconds.
400-Meter Dash
Widener’s Josh Tupper wins gold for a second-straight season with a time of 49.15 second. The Pride’s Honorio Freeland took silver with a time of 49.86 seconds, and Stevenson’s Matt Riggins won bronze with a time of 51.11 seconds.
800-Meter Run
Lebanon Valley’s Terrence Habiyaremye won gold with a time of 1:55.26, and his teammate Nick Scullin won silver in a time of 1:55.35. DeSales’ Patrick Ludlow took bronze with a time of 1:56.23.
Mile Run
Widener’s Ernie Pitone won gold for a second-straight year with a time of 4:15.97. Messiah came in second and third with Alex Scheib taking silver with a time of 4:18.41 and Josh Pardoe winning bronze with a time of 4:20.84.
3,000-Meter Run
Widener’s Ernie Pitone won gold with a time of 8:48.19, and his teammate Frank Livolsi took silver with a time of 8:51.07. Misericordia’s Alexander Fitch took bronze with a time of 8:54.26.
4x400-Meter Relay
Widener’s Honorio Freeland, Nate Sites, Sean Stovall and Josh Tupper won gold with a time of 3:23.17. Lebanon Valley took silver in a time of 3:29.82, and Messiah won bronze with a time of 3:30.10.
4x800-Meter Relay
Lebanon Valley’s Garrett Santis, Terrence Habiyaremye, Michael Dworzak and Nick Scullin won the gold medal with a time of 7:59.10. Messiah took silver with a time of 7:59.73, and DeSales won bronze with a time of 8:18.65.
Shot Put
Widener’s Dan Herbster wins gold with a mark of 14.74 meters. Lebanon Valley’s Adam Wagaman takes silver with a mark of 14.32 meters, and the Pride’s Evan Crouch won bronze with a mark of 14.27 meters.
Pole Vault
Messiah’s Tim Moses wins his fourth-straight gold medal in the men’s pole vault, this year with a mark of 5.00 meters. Moses holds the championship record mark of 5.13 meters set in 2016. The Falcons’ Dane Cornelius took silver with a mark of 4.50 meters, and Lebanon Valley’s Jesse Brownstein took bronze with a mark of 4.25 meters.
Triple Jump
Widener’s Josh Colley won gold with a distance of 14.23 meters. Delaware Valley’s Ta’riq Thomas won silver with a mark of 14.21 meters, and Eastern’s Teniola Oladeji took bronze with a mark of 14.05 meters.
High Jump
Stevenson’s Tevin Bailey wins gold for a second-straight year with a mark of 2.02 meters. Eastern’s Aron Szency took silver with a mark of 1.99 meters, and Misericordia’s Olutobi Olugbenga won bronze with a mark of 1.96 meters.
Heptathlon
Messiah’s Dane Cornelius won gold for a second-straight year. He won this season with 4,253 points and a title in the pole vault. Alvernia’s Jeremiah Clinchoc took silver with 4,217 points, and Lebanon Valley’s Brandon McMinn won bronze with 4,131 points.
